The cool-weather bag is rated for reasonable protection to night-time temperatures in the 30-35' range.  There are many variables involved of course, so this may not apply exactly to you.  As the bags get warmer, they will typically get heavier and take up more room as well to accommodate more insulation.  The one we most commonly rent for this temperature range stuffs to about 5" in diameter and about 12" long when cinched tight.

As with all of our rental bags, there are various adjustments you can make with cinches, straps and zippers to maximize comfort.  The cowl cinch shown here will help retain heat around your head and upper body.

Most of the rental bags have long zippers that can be adjusted from the top or bottom.  Some like to open up a vent in the bottom to allow some air in, or even to stick their feet out
