How this works...

We make it easy!

You can pickup our rental gear at our retail store in Tempe for free or we will ship it to you just about anywhere in the US - there are shipping costs, but it will save you from driving around town picking up and returning gear.  Very convenient!

At checkout, you can select among several pickup and drop-off options, and compare delivery costs - all without entering any personal information.

Typical pickup points can include your home, office, hotel or our carrier's pickup point along your way, or sometimes even right to your campground host.

For ship-and-return options, we include a prepaid return label - just swap out these labels and drop off for return shipping after your camping trip.

This is a unique tent rental option we added in 2017. This is a larger, more comfortable model than the "normal" backpacking tents  we rent - roomier and more features, at less than 1/2 the weight of our car camping options. The design of this tent allows much of the same structure to be used in a both a 3-person and 4-person configuration.  This is a high quality tent that sells north of $500 at retail (don't lose it on the trail!), so it's at a pricier rent level than our base 1- and 2-person rental models.  You just tell us which capacity option you want by using the drop-down box when checking out.  

In 3-person mode:

In 4-person mode:

This is a great tent rental option for these circumstances or needs:

Star gazing the night sky while sleeping
Need full width capacity for 3 backpackers and gear
Need to house 4 backpackers and gear (4-man mode)
Several backpackers, but limited camp site space
Car camping, but want to tie up less space in the vehicle

Alternatively, consider our smaller backpacking tents or larger car car camping tents.
