If you have factory installed side rails on top of your vehicle roof, or have after-market mounting platforms, the load bars going across the vehicle - side to side between the doors - are needed to hold your kayak or canoe. These load bars come in a few different styles, including round, square, and like these - a tear-shaped, oval aerodynamic design from Thule that reduces wind noise that is often a problem with the cheaper designs.
The price shown is for a pair. Available in lengths from 43 to 60 inches. See the Thule Fit Guide for the recommended size for your vehicle. For carrying 2 kayaks on aero bars, you will usually need some type of
j-bar carrier mounted to the cross bars to carry the kayaks on their side. It is best to give us a call to discuss the best options for your vehicle.
