With all due respect to the draw-dropping backpacking trips we can do here in our great state of Arizona, there's something about treks into the Sierras that might just top it.
The scale and visibility is majestic to behold, there's nearly always water readily available, the temps are great in the summer, and once again, the scenery is just stunning.
Peaking out at Mt. Whitney, thru-hiking the JMT, or just wandering around for a few days looking at the big Sequoias are on a lot of our customers' wish list. It's getting more difficult to get permits on short notice, so now's the time to make those plans.
