How this works...

We make it easy!

You can pickup our rental gear at our retail store in Tempe for free or we will ship it to you just about anywhere in the US - there are shipping costs, but it will save you from driving around town picking up and returning gear.  Very convenient!

At checkout, you can select among several pickup and drop-off options, and compare delivery costs - all without entering any personal information.

Typical pickup points can include your home, office, hotel or our carrier's pickup point along your way, or sometimes even right to your campground host.

For ship-and-return options, we include a prepaid return label - just swap out these labels and drop off for return shipping after your camping trip.

This is a great rental option for backpacking and light car-camping trips where convenience and speed in a single package is desired.  Included is a stove, similar to the canister fuel stoves we've offered since Day One 16+ years ago, plus 4 lightweight pots, something of a blend between the popular titanium kettle and the stainless pot sets we rent.  A unique feature of this package is the heat exchanger in 2 of the pots, which gives you speedy boiling times and higher fuel efficiency - similar to a "Jetboil" concept many of you may be familiar with.   The rental rate is higher than the other backpacking stove we rent, but keep in mind this one is more powerful and includes 4 pots.  This package is from MonsPeak, a company with some innovative products we've worked with on other product lines we rent, such as this hydrid 3 and 4-man backpacking tent.

This stove and 4-pot brushed aluminum set weighs in at under 1.5 pounds, and nests neatly together in a compact package, eating up little space in your pack.  Use a standard isopro blend canister fuel available at any outdoor store - including our retail store - to power the stove.  An 8-oz fuel canister typically gets you about 12 meals with a regular stove, but with the high efficiency of the heat exchangers, you'll now see a marked improvement over that.  In addition, you will see much better performance at higher altitudes. 

You can add freeze dried meals - Mountain House/Backpackers Pantry, etc - on to your rental order.  

The multiple pots and fast boiling times allow this one rental set to serve as the cooking foundation for several people in short order, giving it a very effective bang for the weight - split it up among 2 or 3 for next-to-nothing weight-carrying for each.  It's also great for car camping if you don't want to lug around a big propane stove; not as good for whipping up bacon and eggs as the bigger stoves, but if your crew just needs a morning java fix, this might be the ticket.
